Irish Counselling Directory: Why Do Counselling Services Need SEO?

Counselling Directory Ireland

We have endured over 18 months of a crippling pandemic, that has left more people in need of mental health services than ever before – and it’s now time for the best counselling services to stand out from the crowd and be easily found online.

Many people who need counselling services, are looking for a discrete way to contact someone. Today online search is becoming more popular. What a good SEO service does for a company is not only to ensure that they are found easily, but also help in pinpointing the right service at the right place.

More and more people are using their mobile phones to search for services, and they will often use the phone’s assistant such as “hey Google”, Alexa, Siri, Bixby or Bing to name but a few.

So people looking to access counselling might use some of the following terms.

  • Where can I find addiction counselling near me?
  • How can I improve my mental health?
  • I’ve lost my partner, who can I talk to?
  • I feel really depressed, what can I do about it?
  • How can I feel better about my mental health?
  • My daughter is being bullied in school, is there any one she can talk to?
  • I am really stressed in work, can anyone help me?
  • I’ve lost my job and my confidence?

Not everyone uses the standard SEO terms, that people think of like:

  • Counselling Dublin
  • Counselling services Ireland
  • Counsellor near me
  • Mental health counselling
  • Mental health Meath

This is where an SEO company like 3R, needs to think outside the box for their clients. We do this using a mix of what’s called “Long tail key-words” in monthly articles we would write for our clients. This not only distinguishes them from other companies using similar but different services, it pinpoints to their clients exactly what they are looking for!

One of the services we do is to write specialist articles for our clients – you can see them here. This provides one of the much needed back-links and also great content for the company to put in those “long-tail” key words.

So to help our clients and their clients who need their counselling services, we’ve created a mini directory of our clients. This will help them with back-links, since that’s also very important in SEO. We also hope to highlight to other counselling companies out there, that by sticking together, we can all help with the tsunami of mental health issues that we feel are coming down the line.

So here’s a list of our current Counselling clients whom we’ve done a combination of SEO, Adwords and website design for, and also a few words they had to say about us.

3R’s Irish Counselling Directory

In this mini directory, we have listed our clients and some of their specialisations. Each of our clients has also the opportunity to create this directory on their website, so that we can eventually build up a referral network between our own clients, so that together we can help the mental health of the people of Ireland.
