As a visitor to Ireland, I have always wondered how great it would be if I could easily browse online local B&Bs, see all local attractions and how to get to them, what activities are available, how to register and book online etc. Because Ireland, as I see it, is a lovely country hiding lots of treasure in its regions spread all over the island.
And while there has been done a lot in this area already, so that we can use such useful websites such as Discover Ireland created by Failte Ireland, I still believe that a lot can be improved. And as we in 3R Sales and Marketing help companies to enhance their online presentation and our experience just shows how successful online marketing can be for small and medium-sized businesses, I was just thinking that if I give tourist SMEs some advice or tips on how to improve their websites, we all could benefit from it.
So if you are providing accommodation for visitors of local tourist attractions, or if you are a carrier or simply put, if your target market are tourists, try to follow these steps:
Finally, every website owner has the right to enjoy high website ranking in Google, being found under search terms which are relevant to the service they provide. Moreover, once you entice visitors to your website, these deserve to feel the ease of proper navigation, accurate information available, including photographs if applicable, helpful search options, fully functional reservation system and automated confirmation of the undertaken booking actions.
