This month, 3R spoke to, Angela Hoban, Business Consultant with Euphony Communications. Residential and business customers alike benefit from the massive reductions in phone call costs that Euphony provides. With a market becoming saturated by small telephone companies, Euphony is able to undercut them all, by adopting Network Marketing is their chosen channel to market. This means they have no direct sales or marketing costs, passing these saving on to their customers.
Angela, tell me, what about euphony made you want to work for them?
I am self employed and am involved in 3 very successful businesses. However while they are all great at earning me an active income, after reading ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ I was aware that I also needed to start generating a passive income from something that everybody uses. My best customers across all of my businesses are those with whom I have built up a friendship more so than just a business relationship!
Euphony is a company which offers me serious passive income earning potential with massive plans for the future. In the not too distant future I will be able to offer my customers all of their utilities at reduced prices, imagine that you will be able to get 1 monthly utility bill into your home or business giving you reduced costs on all of those services!
What would be the profile of the clientele that your customers are more likely to have?
My customers are families, friends and colleagues who realise that they can save serious money on their phone bills with euphony while at the same time doing me a personal favour by helping me to grow my business.
What is the main problem or desire that your customers who purchase your products or service face
Their main problem is that their outgoings are too high and their desire is to reduce costs! Typically this would mean having to cut back, with euphony it means that you still get the same or a much better service just much better value!
What does solving that problem enable them to do?
It enables them to save money either on their personal or business bills and put that money to better use! It also allows them the peace of mind to know that they are availing of the best value in the market.
How do they put a value on it?
That’s simple, they see the savings on their monthly phone bills! And in the not too distant future they will be saving on all of their utilities including Internet, Gas and electricity!
What distinguishes you from your competition?
That’s simple….. - We offer the best value in the market place
- We are a network marketing organisation which means that all of the Business Consultants are self employed, we recommend the service by word of mouth to friends, family and colleagues. This also ensures that we build a loyal customer base.
- We are more than just a telecoms company, we are a utilities company!
What piece of sales advice that you have learnt at the coal face has helped you most in your career?
I think that it would have to be to build a personal relationship with your customers – treat them the way that you would like to be treated and have some fun along the way! My best customers across all of my businesses are those with whom I have built up a friendship more so than just a business relationship!
What three things has your Business Owner done for you that have helped you the most? - I know where the company is, where it is going and how we are going to get there!
- Euphony gives me services that I am delighted to recommend to my family friends and colleagues
- They pay me in such a way that while I’m building my passive income (which may take up to 12 /18months) there are many incentives to keep me interested!
Finally, this newsletter is called Success, what is your definition of success with euphony?
Success with euphony for me means enabling me to build a large base of customers who are delighted with our savings on their utility bills which generates a passive income which is sufficiently large enough to allow me to work when I want to, not because I have to!
