When shopping online, using internet banking, subscribing to various newsletters or booking place at events, a lot of personal information can be stored in our web browsers. How can we be sure that these data will not be misused and that our privacy won’t be invaded?

If you want to use Internet, you definitely need a web browser. Wikipedia’s defnition of a web browser is, that it is a software application which enables a user to display and interact with text, images, videos, music, games and other information typically located on a Web page at a website on the World Wide Web or a local area network.

A recent study of consumer privacy on the Internet shows that almost two-thirds of all commercial web sites provide some form of warning if they collect personal data.
